Pre-Lodge Assessment (Required)

A 1-hour Pre-Lodge Assessment is required before your dog can attend the Sports & Tricks Immersion Lodge & Learn program.

This assessment allows us to confirm suitability for a structured lodge environment, understand your dog’s learning style, drive levels, and motivation, and design a personalised immersion plan aligned to your goals and your dog’s ability.

Sports & Tricks Immersion Lodge & Learn Overview

The Sports & Tricks Immersion Lodge & Learn is a fun, enriching, and skill-focused boarding experience designed to build engagement, confidence, and a love of learning.

Your dog stays with us in a structured, positive environment while being introduced to trick training, foundational sports skills, and engagement-based games. This program is ideal for dogs who enjoy learning, benefit from mental stimulation, or are preparing to step into canine sports or active hobbies.

Training is delivered through reward-based methods that prioritise clarity, enthusiasm, and emotional wellbeing — creating dogs who are focused, motivated, and eager to train.

Minimum Stay Requirement

This program requires a minimum stay of 14 nights.

This timeframe allows us to:

• Build strong engagement and training momentum

• Introduce multiple skills across tricks, games, and sports foundations

• Develop reliable focus in increasingly stimulating environments

• Ensure skills are transferable back to the owner at handover

• Individual training assessment and customised immersion plan

• Trick training (wave, spin, sit pretty, bow, orbit, and more)

• Foundations of shaping, luring, and capturing

• Engagement and focus-building drills

• Enrichment and problem-solving games

• Introductory canine sports skills (agility basics, disc foundations, impulse control for high-drive games)

• Skills for safe play: tug rules, toy drive building, drop and retrieve

• Confidence building through novelty exposure

• Multiple daily training and enrichment sessions

• One-on-one private handover lesson so you can continue progressing at home

• Grooming / spa departure

• Prescription oral and injectable medication can be administered as required.

Health & Safety Requirements

• Vaccinations must be up to date, with records provided prior to booking

• Flea, tick, and worming treatments must be current

• All medical conditions and medications must be fully disclosed

• Dogs must be assessed as suitable for a structured lodge and training environment

Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Owner Handover

• Drop-off and pick-up details confirmed prior to your dog’s stay

• A private handover lesson is scheduled at program completion

• You will receive practical guidance and progression strategies to continue training at home
